how long does delivery take?

>August to September are our busiest months so please bear with us. We will aim to deliver all uniforms two weeks prior to the start of term to all those that order before the 14th of August. Payment is taken when we receive you order as it is processed then and sent for manufacture.

can I have express delivery?

>No we don't offer express delivery on student orders only for private customers paying full brochure price for items.

can I order over the phone?

>No we cant take orders over the phone, we have to receive your college order form as we can't give the college discount over the phone.

what do I do if I want to exchange?

>On the back of your invoice you will find a returns and exchanges form, just fill that out and post the goods back to us with £3.50 for one item or £5 if you would like to exchange two or more items.

can I get a refund?

>If you ordered the minimum uniform set you can only return items for an exchange, only additional items that are not embroidered can be returned for a refund and must be returned unworn and in perfect condition within 14 days of receipt. Please note all refunds are subject to a 10% restocking charge.

can I send my item back if it has an embroidered name or logo on it?

>Unfortunately not, embroidered items are non refundable.

you've sent me a letter saying i had to order the shoes/trousers but my tutor told me i didn't have to

>If you have a uniform set, you have to order this as it is set by the college not by us. If you have not ordered the correct or full package we are not able to process your order.

i've already got the trousers/tunic/shoes from last year can't I just get the new tunic/trousers/shoes?

>We have a new catalogue since last year and the uniform fabric is new so it is a newer and different uniform to last year.

what length are your trousers?

>You'll be pleased to know all our trousers come long length (34 inches unhemmed) and come with magic hemming tape included. Just follow the instructions and then hem the trousers to your preferred length.

i'm usually a size 10, but according to your size chart I am a size 14, please advise

>Our clothing is an average fit, so we would recommend going by what you usually are on the high street. You can always exchange. If you are usually between sizes eg between a 14/16 we would suggest taking the larger size so you are more comfortable as you will be working and moving in these garments.

do you do special / bespoke sizes?

>Our sizes range from 8-34. We only stock up to size 24 so any orders size 24-34 will be especially made at no extra cost but please allow up to 21 working days for manufacture and delivery. Any sizes above 34 or below size 6 will incur a charge of £15 as this is classed as a specially made item, again please allow up to 21 working days.

can I collect my order from you directly?

>No we are just a warehouse unfortunately and we don’t have the health and safety facilities for that.

where do I get an order form?

>All your order forms have been sent to college. If you go to college and ask your lecturer they will have your order form there for you.

i haven't got a card or a cheque book pay with cash?

>We don't advise sending cash in the post. If you go to the post office you can get a POSTAL ORDER and send that into us - make sure this is made payable to Salonwear Direct.

what if I'm not at home when it's delivered?

>Royal Mail will leave a note for you to collect it from your local sorting office, please note this is not the post office.

i think my order has got lost in the post what should I do?

>If you could check at your local sorting office (this is not your post office) as often the postman does not not put a slip through the door. If it has not arrived after 15 working days from the day it was dispatched please call us and we will see what we can do to help. We understand this is a long while to wait but it is company policy in compliance with Royal Mail.
